Study in Italy: Italian Government Scholarship 2025-2026 for Italian and International Students

About the Italian Government Scholarship:

The Italian Government grant 2025-2026 is a fully financed grant for overseas students pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees at leading Italian universities. The scholarship pays a monthly stipend of 900 euros, covers tuition, and includes medical insurance.

Objectives:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worldwide Cooperation (MAECI) provides these scholarships to encourage scientific and technical collaboration, worldwide cultural interaction, and Italian language and culture. The scholarships benefit Italy’s worldwide economic system (per Law 288/55 and later revisions). They are eligible for study, training, and/or research programs in Italian Higher Education Institutes, both public and legally authorized.

  • PhD: Requires meeting the entry requirements and academic qualifications of the Italian University, along with a letter of acceptance.
  • Research Projects: Requires collaboration with Italian Research Institutions and academic supervision from public universities or museums and archives.
